Professional development at Presidential Library

From March 24 to 28, 2025, the Presidential Library will be hosting a training program for employees of specialized closed educational institutions under the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The program is titled Improving the Effectiveness of the Educational Process through the Use of Digital Resources from the Presidential Library and will be delivered remotely.

Presidential Library marks anniversary of cartoonist Boris Yefimov

In 2025, the 125th anniversary of the birth of Boris Yefimovich Yefimov will be celebrated. He was a prominent figure in Soviet and Russian political satire. Born on September 28, 1900, Boris Yefimov lived to the ripe old age of 108 and witnessed some of the most significant events in European and Russian history. His works, which are a significant part of the global cartoon heritage, include a series of anti-war and anti-fascist pieces.

Presidential Library took part in conference dedicated to work of scientists during siege years

On March 20th, 2025, the Mariinsky Palace hosted a scientific and practical conference titled Leningrad Science During the Siege, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This event was organized in collaboration with the OLYMP Nevsky St. Petersburg Studies Sector, part of the Central City Public Library named after V. V. Mayakovsky, and the Museum and Library Educational Center at the Mariinsky Palace, Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg. Representatives from the Presidential Library also attended the conference.
