Alexander Sergeyevich Griboyedov, whose 230th birthday anniversary is celebrated on January 15, was a talented individual who combined the roles of poet, diplomat, musician, and statesman. His melancholic nature, embittered mind, good-naturedness, and even his weaknesses and vices - the inevitable companions of humanity - were all qualities that made him extraordinarily appealing, as Alexander Pushkin described in his travel essay Journey to Arzrum during the Campaign of 1829.

On April 23, 2021 marking the day of the 130th anniversary of the birth of composer Sergei Prokofiev the Presidential Library hosted a cinema club meeting dedicated to the composer. The musical film The Love for Three Oranges was screened at the event, which was held jointly with the St. Petersburg Institution Record Youth Center. The film was directed in 1970 by Viktor Titov and Yuri Bogatyrenko based on the opera of the same name by Sergei Prokofiev.

This year, the event program and the list of free concerts were expanded, since the orthodox holiday received the official status. On June 28, 2022 President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed the Decree On Declaring July 8 the Day of Family, Love and Faithfulness.
