A new exhibition «The Balkan Mountains spread our fame. Dragoon Guard troops during the Russo-Turkish war of 1877–78» opened on July 4 2018 in St. Petersburg to portray the glorious history of the Dragoon Guard regiment, that was stationed in cantonments in the Novgorod suburb of Krechevitsy after the Napoleonic wars.
