Teachers and library workers from Yekaterinburg and Moscow improved their qualifications at the Presidential Library

From March 18 to March 22, 2024, the Presidential Library hosted training for employees of educational institutions in Yekaterinburg and representatives of the Moscow Pedagogical State University in an additional professional development program “Improving the efficiency of the educational process based on the methodology of using digital resources of the Presidential Library”. Training took place remotely.

On September 29, 2023 a practice and oriented event marking the 195th anniversary of Leo Tolstoy was held at the Lermontov Penza Regional Library based on the Regional Center of the Presidential Library. Its participants were children from the All-Russian social and state movement of children and youth “Movement of the First”.

Construction of stone Tobolsk Kremlin was launched

At the beginning of the history of Tobolsk, before the Kremlin's construction, there were formed two independent parts of the city - the prison and the Sophia Court. The first prison was located on the left side of the Pryamsky Vzvoz (street) in 1587, and in 1600 it was moved to the right side of the street. In 1621, the Siberian Archdiocese resided in the place of the former prison. The civil buildings of the Maliy (Voznesensky) Gorod and the churches of the Sophia Court were wooden.

The Presidential Library is participant of Russian Library Congress

The Presidential Library of the Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation is participating in the Russian Library Congress, the XXVIII Annual Conference of the Russian Library Association (RLA), which will take place from May 19 to 24, 2024 in Kazan, the "Library Capital of Russia 2024". This is the largest event of the year in the field of libraries and it takes place on the eve of Russian Library Day. The theme of this year's conference is "Library in a Multipolar World".
