On March 1st 2012 a new center with access to the Presidential Library’s resources opened its doors at one of schools of Obninsk. Unique holdings have become available to schoolchildren and teachers, as well as all residents of the city.

December 19, 2018 Altai Territory hosted the grand opening of a remote electronic reading room with access to information resources of the Presidential Library based on the I. L. Shumilov Pavlovsk Intersettlement Model Library.
