The Presidential Library and the Kostyor magazine announce a competition for schoolchildren

“My Peter I” is the name of the competition dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the birth of the first Russian emperor. The competition is organized by the All-Russian literary and art magazine for schoolchildren Kostyor and the Presidential Library. The competition is held from January 1 to October 15, 2022. Russian schoolchildren and students of secondary educational institutions under the age of 17 are invited to participate, regardless of the region of residence.

For the second year in a row, on the eve of the Knowledge Day, the Presidential Library becomes the venue for the Admiralteisky District Teachers’ Council. This year it will take place on August 30, 2022 at 12:00. According to the established tradition, representatives of the pedagogical community of the district will hold a conference to set goals for the new academic year. The theme of the meeting of the teachers' council is "Strategic guidelines and value meanings of modern education".

On 8 April 2025, an electronic reading room of the Presidential Library was inaugurated at Secondary General Education School No. 79 in Penza. Almost one and a half thousand pupils and a large teaching staff of the school got access to the nationwide electronic repository of digital copies of the most important documents on history, theory and practice of Russian statehood, Russian language.

Centers of remote access of Chelyabinsk Region newly equipped

In 2018 the Chelyabinsk Regional Universal Research Library at the Chelyabinsk Regional Center of Access to the Resources of the Presidential Library developed the project “Presidential Library in the Southern Urals”. Its goal is to ensure equal access to the resources of the Presidential Library to residents of Chelyabinsk Region. One of the objectives of the project is to open one hundred centers of remote access in the libraries and educational institutions of the region.
