The exhibition “Solomon Yudovin. Graphic Works from the Besieged Leningrad” from the collection of Evgeny Gerasimov and the Russian Museum is opening on January 24, 2019 in the Stroganov Palace. It is timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the lifting of the siege of Leningrad. The artist witnessed and experienced the siege, one of the most tragic events of World War II, firsthand. The exhibition showcases about 150 works by the artist, most of which are on display for the first time.

It continues the tradition of mini exhibitions staged ahead of Pushkin’s commemorative dates, which was established several years ago. They give visitors a unique chance to discover original documents, which leave the archival repository for a short time.
