Internet resources: Snapshot of global Internet speeds revealed

A report based on analysis of huge amounts of net traffic has revealed the state of the internet around the globe. The data, from network giant Akamai reveals the average global net speed is only 1.7Mbps (megabits per second) although some countries have made strides towards faster services.

The final stage of the "Russia in the Electronic World" Olympiad to be held in the Presidential Library

The third, final stage of the annual interactive Olympiad for schoolchildren “Russia in the Electronic World” in history, social science and the Russian language will be held from March 17 to March 19, 2020. 113 participants including those in history, 227 in social studies, 115 pupils from 52 regions of Russia and 12 foreign countries in Russian reached the finals. The lists of finalists are published on the website of the Olympiad and in the VKontakte social network group.

Presented last year in Delhi, the exhibition reached great popularity among the Indians, and according to F. A. Rozovsky, Director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in New Delhi, it was decided to continue the exhibition in the country.
