Marking World Cup 2018 in Russia: Exhibition «First FIFA World Cup 1930» is opening in Moscow

This year, Russia is hosting FIFA World Cup. In the midst of the year’s central sports event the Multimedia Art Museum in Moscow highlights the first ever FIFA World Cup in Uruguay. "The First FIFA World Cup 1930” exposition features photographs, posters, invitation tickets and football objects on loan from the Montevideo Center of Photography and the Montevideo Football Museum.

Internet resources: Snapshot of global Internet speeds revealed

A report based on analysis of huge amounts of net traffic has revealed the state of the internet around the globe. The data, from network giant Akamai reveals the average global net speed is only 1.7Mbps (megabits per second) although some countries have made strides towards faster services.

The third, final stage of the annual interactive Olympiad for schoolchildren “Russia in the Electronic World” in history, social science and the Russian language will be held from March 17 to March 19, 2020. 113 participants including those in history, 227 in social studies, 115 pupils from 52 regions of Russia and 12 foreign countries in Russian reached the finals. The lists of finalists are published on the website of the Olympiad and in the VKontakte social network group.
