October 26, 2021, at 11:00 Moscow time, the Presidential Library hosted a video lecture entitled "Animals in the Works of Dostoevsky" as part of the Knowledge of Russia project. The event is the eighth in the series of lectures "Fyodor Dostoevsky – Conversation about Values" dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the world famous writer, which will be celebrated on November 11, 2021.

October 31, 2018 at 16:00 the Presidential Library will host the 105th cinema club meeting, dedicated to the World Animal Day. On this day, the audience will have a meeting with the biologist Pavel Glazkov, a naturalist, candidate of biological sciences, who leads the video blog “Two of every kind” which tells about animals living in Leningrad Region. His motto is love for nature through its knowledge.

On October 4, 2019 at 3 p.m. the Presidential Library will hold the Cinema Club meeting dedicated to the World Animal Day. On this day the audience will meet with Pavel Glazkov, a naturalist, PhD in Biology, who runs “Two of Every Kind” video blog, which is about animals living in Leningrad region. His motto is love for nature through learning. The program features four film premieres.

More than 180 libraries in Ulyanovsk Region took part in the annual All-Russian campaign “Biblionoch in Online Format”, which in 2020 was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The online program, presented on 280 thematic virtual platforms, was watched by about 150,000 people.

A joint Russian-Finnish project “InterActive History” was launched in October as part of Karelia Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) Program. The project activities are targeted at 6 participating museums in Karelia and Finland. It is co-organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Karelia. The Creative Industries and Cultural Tourism Development Fund is the major partner of the project, which will run until 2020.
