The Presidential Library hosted the regular cinema club meeting, which was held as part of the II International Children's Crafts Festival, dedicated to the history of Russia in poetry and art song of the XX – XXI centuries. The novel “Childhood” became the starting point of Leo Tolstoy’s career, when it was published in The Contemporary journal 170 years ago. The novel has come out under the title “The History of My Chidlhood” which was disliked by the author: the title didn’t match his ideas.

Walking with an online application, portal users will see streets and buildings connected with the writer's childhood and adolescence. The exhibition "The World of Childhood in Russian Fine Arts" was opened at the Polenov Dacha of the Abramtsevo Museum-Reserve (Moscow Region). The exposition features 32 paintings and graphic works of the XIX - early XX centuries from the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus. It also includes works by Russian artists from the State Historical, Art and Literary Museum-Reserve Abramtsevo.

The opening of the Museum of School and Childhood took place in the historic Ilyinskoye-Usovo estate near Moscow, in the building of the former public school of the late 19th century. The museum has been created by the Elizavetinsko-Sergievo Educational Society Foundation for Assistance to the Revival of the Traditions of Mercy and Charity. The exposition features documents from Russian archives and libraries, including from the State Archives of the Russian Federation.
