Internet and society: The level of Internet literacy of Russian users discussed at a conference in Moscow

Experts in the field of Internet technology and sociologists have calculated an index of “digital competence” of Russian users of “World Wide Web”. According to a study presented in Moscow at the International Conference to ensure child safety and digital literacy in the Internet, this figure does not exceed 34%.

The Unified E-Democracy Portal has posted the Russian Federation E-Democracy Development Concept up to 2020 for public comment and collection of suggestions. The Concept defines the main priorities, directions and stages of development in the Russian Federation of electronic democracy mechanisms. Citizens can voice their opinions on these matters within 30 days from the date of publication of the Concept.
