The first issue of ‘Pravda’ newspaper published

On April 22 (May 5), 1912 in Petersburg was published the first issue of the first daily legal worker’s newspaper in Russia created on Lenin’s initiative called ‘Pravda’. The newspaper issue started upon the resolution of the 6th All-Russian conference of RSDRP which took place in Prague in 1912 in reply to workers’ desire to have their own daily paper.
газеты в России, созданной по инициативе В. И. Ленина — «Правда». Газета начала издаваться по решению 6-й... рабочих иметь свою ежедневную газету.
Фактическим редактором и руководителем «Правды» был В. И. Ленин...-воспитательную работу, публиковала важнейшие документы и материалы партии, работы Ленина... Постановление о праздновании 5-го мая Дня печати.
В 1945 г. газета была награждена Орденом Ленина... вручением второго Ордена Ленина и Ордена Октябрьской революции.
В 1975 г. газета издавалась общим... легальной рабочей газеты в России, созданной по инициативе В. И. Ленина — «Правда».
