The Presidential Library’s collection illustrates Russo-Japanese War

A series of trials in the 20th century began for our country in the Far East, when Japan blocked Port Arthur - the main Russian naval base in the Pacific Ocean, and the military failures of the Russian army and navy, the largest of which were the Mukden battle and the Tsushima naval battle, became one of the reasons for the revolution of 1905-1907.

On February 8, 2019 the Azov History, Archaeology and Paleontology Museum-Reserve (Rostov Region) is mounting an exhibition, which acquaints visitors with the culture, religious beliefs and main activities of the Hellenes in Bosporus through the images of painted ceramics dating from around VIII-III cc. BC. It is opening a series of exhibitions, which will spotlight the Kingdom of the Bosporus. The exhibition is part of the “Golden Ring of the Bosporan Kingdom” tourism program.

The State Russian Museum has teamed up with the Museum of Modern Art in New York and launched a virtual project “Expressionism in Russian Art” available via Artefact app. Users will have a chance to join the augmented reality tour around the exhibition and use the audio guide – the recorded narration of “Masterskaya” theatre actors. “Expressionism in Russian Art” exhibition will be open until November 19, 2018.
